The story of one bride in Paris
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPY
BACKSTAGE
Usually, brides are the ones who are late.
But on that day, it was him.
Or maybe he simply never came.
His phone is silent. The messages remain undelivered.
She looks breathtaking: in a luxurious gown, with flawless makeup,
and, perhaps for the first time, she has no idea what comes next.
She could cry.
She could simply wait.
But instead, she chooses to live.
She walks into her favorite pastry shop and buys cakes,
tasting them right there on the street.
She smiles at strangers, drinks a milkshake
with triple whipped cream,
and watches the city carry on with its life.
If this is the end — let it at least be beautiful.
Paris becomes a witness to her inner world:
lightness, heartbreak, excitement, and an unexpected sense of freedom and gratitude.
If she is no longer a bride, then she is a woman
who chose herself.
And then, just as the sun begins touching the rooftops and the day is almost over —
he appears.
Without words, without explanations.
Out of breath, carrying an armful of baguettes,
with a look that holds everything at once — guilt, love, fear of losing her.
He came.
And somehow, that was enough.
